The Nourisher - Editor’s Blog

When we got married the registry wouldn’t let me put Super Hero as my occupation, they put Home Duties on our marriage certificate instead. But I AM a Super Hero and my Super Hero name is…… The Nourisher.

Everyone’s a Winner Babe

Our lucky subscriber has been drawn and has received her great prize. With her Schnitzer Mill Grain Flaker, Susan P can make her own fresh rolled oats, soak them overnight and have delicious bircher muesli in the mornings or porridge in winter.

winsep.jpgShe was so excited she’d won. Here’s a photo of her with her new flaker. Lets hope she posts some recipes using freshly rolled grains soon.

Congratulations also to Diane, Stephanie, Jenny, Jacalyn and Henry. You’ve won the pass it forward prizes this month. Some Witch’s Brew Old Fashioned anti aging cream made with pasture fed lard is on it’s way to you.

Some are wondering about this mysterious Witch’s Brew cosmetics. They’re made by a friend of mine, actually the witch who lives in the shed on the property we care for. She will join us soon with a blog of her own so you can ask her more about her concoctions then.

Thanks to all who passed on the newsletter, we are now 872 strong. Our visitors are up to 17000 a month and counting. Imagine that many people standing in a room. It’s really inspiring.

A reader, Hi Cathy, emailed me yesterday saying, “I feel so blessed to have all this new knowledge in time to help nourish my little girl to be strong, happy and healthy! The bigger your site grows the happier I am knowing that every day more and more families are on the right track!”

This sort of feedback makes my work so much more Nourishing for me. Thanks.

nuiprize.jpgThis month’s prize is a Basket of Nui skin care. Made on organic coconut oil from Pacific Nations Nui support with micro loans as well as industry. It really is an honour to work with a company with such compassion credentials as Nui.

You’ll love their yummy gear too. All you have to do to win is subscribe to our Nourishing Newsletter. If you’re already a subscriber, you’ll automatically go into the draw. Good luck, dear Nourishers.
