The Nourisher - Editor’s Blog

When we got married the registry wouldn’t let me put Super Hero as my occupation, they put Home Duties on our marriage certificate instead. But I AM a Super Hero and my Super Hero name is…… The Nourisher.

Global Orgasm

By Joanne Hay

This is a wonderful idea that came to me last year. I was very excited about it and am so much more excited now that I know I don’t have to organise it. It is already being done. Each year on the Solstice (Summer for us, Winter for the Northern Hemisphere) people all round the world endeavour to make love (alone or together) and orgasm with world peace as their intent. How beautiful is that!

The Global Consciousness Project at Princeton University runs a network of Random Event Generators (REGs) around the world, which record changes in randomness during global events. The results show that human consciousness can be measured to have a global effect on matter and energy during widely experienced events such as 9/11 and the Indian Ocean tsunami. The International Day of Gratitude was measured by these guys. As far as I know the jury is out as to the effect it had but they have measured global peace prayers and Earth Dance before with extraordinary changes in global consciousness recorded.

The mission of the Global Orgasm is to effect change in the energy field of the Earth through input of the largest possible surge of human energy. What better surge than that nourishing and enlightening energy making love creates.

It just so happens we are already organising a Summer Solstice party that day so we’ll just add this little beauty to the pot. Savaad at Green Habitat Solutions has agreed to provide a beautiful Mongolian Yurt for this purpose. If the yurts a rockin’ don’t come knockin’… We’ll deck it out with all our spiritual artifacts and blessed trinkets including one that can be burned. Those who choose to bless the yurt with their love energy can put their peaceful intent into the artifact and we will burn it and send our love into the statosphere. Why not create your own little orgasm party, December 22, and tell us about it.
