Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
What do you imagine? A while ago I asked the world to give me their five most wonderful imaginings with this question: “What will your Grandchildren say to you?” It’s strange, only some people answered my question and of those who did, it was difficult for them to leave behind apocalyptic visions of destruction, war and disease. The question is What you wish for! What vision are you living by? In order to continually inspire ourselves to continue changing the world, we must have a vision of what it is we are changing it into. Please go check out my original post and add your positive visions to the pot. I need some sweetness to counteract the bitterness that the meme has attracted.
