The Nourisher - Editor’s Blog

When we got married the registry wouldn’t let me put Super Hero as my occupation, they put Home Duties on our marriage certificate instead. But I AM a Super Hero and my Super Hero name is…… The Nourisher.

Youth Magazine sans Drivel

By Joanne Hay

This is an exciting change from what is usually a very exploitive media - the teen magazine. The Tracking Way is a new magazine for young adults that fosters reverence for the environment, appreciation for cultural diversity, and connection to peers. It’s readers are invited to contribute their writing, artwork and humor. What better way to encourage young adults to practise their writing skills and express themselves artistically? The content is presented professionally and looks fantastic. The magazine is published by In This Place, a non-profit educational organization based in western Massachusetts, USA. It’s worth a look www.inthisplace.org

Joanne Hay, Editor of Nourished Magazine, Chief Nourisher and Mother of three is very grateful to live in Byron Bay and be able to share all she has learned about Nourishment. She has trained as an Acupuncturist (unfinished), Kinesiologist (finished) and parent (never finished). She serves the Weston A Price Foundation as a chapter leader. She loves sauerkraut, kangaroo tail stew, home made ice cream, her husband Wes and her kids Isaiah, Brynn and Ronin (in no particular order…well maybe ice cream first).
